Utah Presidents Cup is Back On!
Boys 13U-18U to be played in Orem, UT in May
UYSA is excited to announce that we have rescheduled the 2021 Presidents Cup tournament for the 13U-18U age groups!
Boys 13U-18U : Lakeside Sports Complex, Orem, UT
May 24-27 (pool play), May 29 (semifinals & finals)
Girls 13U-18U : Lakeside Sports Complex, Orem, UT
May 17-20 (pool play), May 22 (semifinals & finals)
Winners of each age group advance to Far West Regional Presidents Cup Jen 14-20, 2021 (Salt Lake City, UT)
Entry Fee: $700
Registration Opens: Tuesday, March 16, 2021
Registration Closes: Monday, April 12, 2021
Game Times: 4pm & 6pm (pool play)
There will not be a 3-game guarantee. If you only play two games and DO NOT advance to the Semi-Finals, we will send a refunded amount of $100. Only 72 teams will be accepted, which averages to 12 teams per age group. Some ages may have more than 12 teams, while others would have less depending on registration numbers.
League Games will be allowed to be rescheduled for free if there is a direct conflict (league game and Presidents Cup game on same day). Please do not plan to reschedule any league games to the week of the tournament.
SOUTHERN UTAH TEAMS: In order to accommodate the distance, we will plan on having one bracket in the age group consist of teams from the south and have pool play games in St. George. I need at least 3 teams from Southern Utah to make this work, otherwise you would have to play your games in Orem. I would try as best as possible to reduce the number of school days missed if this was the case. However, if you would rather be in a group with Northern Utah teams, please inform Josh Magleby (jmagleby@utahyouthsoccer.net). This does mean your games would be played in Orem. Playing against Northern Utah teams would be treated as a request, not a guarantee.
We understand there may be some boys teams affected by 5A and 6A High School Semi-Finals and Finals. We cannot guarantee we can accommodate around these games.
