Why Rec?

Recreation soccer is primarily devoted to the enjoyment and development of soccer players without the emphasis on travel or high-level competition. Recreation soccer provides an opportunity for the participants to have fun, learn the sport and develop life skills including a lifelong love of the game. How to Sign Up

Recreation leagues are located across the state and can be found in close proximity to most young players to give them an opportunity to explore the game of soccer. Utah Youth Soccer has broken down the state into 6 different geographic regions. In each region you can find different Member Organizations that are a part of UYSA. Member Organizations each have their own coaching philosophies and programs that they provide for soccer players.

Most recreation leagues run on a seasonal year (Fall season and then Spring season). Registration typically takes place in spring for the Fall season with some leagues accepting late registrations through the summer. Leagues often allow half-season signups in Jan/Feb for the Spring season.
