Utah Youth Soccer Association Seeking Marketing and Events Intern for the Summer 2022 Season
Utah Youth Soccer is the leader is promoting, developing and governing youth soccer in Utah. We strive to provide fun, competitive, and engaging opportunities for our members. The main focus of this internship will be working closely with the Events Department and the Marketing Department. This will include some nights and weekends filled with soccer!
Within the Events Department you assist the team with tournament preparations for our state’s Presidents Cup and State Cup, both hosted at the Regional Athletic Complex in Salt Lake City. Job duties may include scheduling, working with community vendors, on-site tournament set up, etc.
Additionally, the intern will be working with the Marketing Department for tournament promotions, marketing, photography, videography, and assisting with the Game of the Week program for the Spring season. A sampling of tasks can range from social media posting, event recaps, video/photo editing.
A full-time intern is required to work between 33-40 hours per week. Office hours are between 9AM-5PM. As a reminder, there will be occasional nights and weekend responsibility.
Qualifications:
Great communication and customer service skills
Marketing background, skills, or interest
Experience using Adobe Creative Suite or Canva
Detail oriented and organized
Thorough knowledge of MS Office
Self-starter
Able to lift at least 30-40 lbs.
Knowledge of soccer is always a bonus
The intern will report directly to the Events Manager and the Marketing Manager.
