UYSA Announces Hire of Lee Davis as Director of Coaching & Player Development

December 28, 2022, Salt Lake City, UT - The Utah Youth Soccer Association is pleased to announce the addition of Lee Davis as the new Director of Coaching & Player Development.

Lee began coaching in 2004 in Middlesbrough, England working as part of a Physical Education Department in his role as a School Sports Coordinator.  During this time, Lee coached various levels from ages 8-16. He also assisted the Middlesbrough FC School Boys County U13 team.

In 2007, Lee came to the United States as a Camp Director with Major League Soccer Camps in California, Utah, Colorado, Montana, Idaho, and Washington.

Shortly thereafter, Lee transitioned to the role of Club Trainer with Challenger British Soccer in 2008, and worked in this capacity for another year before moving to Club Coaching in Utah.

Since then Lee has served as Technical Director for 3 clubs in Utah.

Lee also coached Region 4 Boys and Girls, served as Head Coach with the Utah State Select Program (ODP) and won the West Region ODP championship in 2022.

Lee has been a State Coach Educator since 2012 and US Youth Soccer National Staff Instructor.
