Schedules are Posted, Fee free Window Reschedules is open and will close on Sunday August 22, at midnight!
RESCHEDULES
All teams are allowed a maximum of two (2) coach or team initiated reschedules. Not two that are fee free and then additional ones where you pay a fee. THE MAX ALLOWED IS TWO!
Reschedules must be completed using the reschedule button. The window for coach or team initiated no charge reschedules is Sunday August 22 at 11:59 p.m. All reschedules must be completed prior to this deadline or the system will require that the fee be paid. This includes the final step of the opposing team accepting the reschedule in the system.
If a team has used their two reschedules, we are not able to reschedule additional games except as provided for by policy 63141.c (see below).
The reschedule policy requires that the game be rescheduled 4 days prior to original date and time. For example; your first game is scheduled for March 16th at 10:00 a.m. the rescheduled must be complete and accepted by the opposing team no later than March 12th at 10:00 a.m.
The reschedule is not complete until the opposing team accepts the reschedule and this must be done within the 4 days and time of the original schedule window. If the game is not updated with the new information in the Affinity System the game has NOT been rescheduled.
Games that need to be rescheduled under UYSA Policy 6314.1.c - due to weather, air quality, field closure, no referees or League Commissioner cancellation are required to be rescheduled within 14 days of the original date. Please note - rescheduled - it does not have to be played within the 14 days, but the reschedule information must be submitted to UYSA within the 14 days. There is a link on the website- and included below- that will take you to the form that must be completed in order to complete the reschedule. This link is not for coach or team initiated reschedules. Please watch for the updated information in future emails.
We encourage you to reschedule the game as early as possible in the season, as the later in the season fields have limited availability due to State Cup, field closures and spring storms. It is the Home Team's responsibility to obtain field and referee assignor permissions for available dates and times and are responsible to send the information in to UYSA, but both teams are required to work together to find an agreeable date and time.
