Solidarity Through Soccer, launching for State Cup & Presidents Cups 2021
UYSA is excited to announce the launch of our long-awaited Inclusion Initiative! Each participating State Cup & Presidents Cup team will be given arm bands (like a captain’s arm band) for the teams to wear during tournament play. Teams will be encouraged, to take the UYSA Player Pledge for Inclusivity (found here) and wear these bands as a sign that they are advocates for Inclusion in Utah Soccer.

As always, UYSA’s marketing team will be out capturing footage for as many of the matches as possible. (Night games are always a little tough with the lighting).

State Cup Only Announcements
Best of State Cup 2021
Get those cameras rolling! For the first time at Spring State Cup, Utah Youth Soccer is pleased to offer a “Best of State Cup” Competition. Players, coaches, and families will have an opportunity to submit their goals and saves from the tournament for this voting competition. A prize will be awarded to the Voted-Best Goal and Save of the tournament (there will be a boy’s bracket and girl’s bracket for goal & save). Goal and Save Submissions can be sent to jrader@utahyouthsoccer.net. They must be submitted before Monday, May 31st.
Veo Recordings for Semifinals & Finals
Utah Youth Soccer Association has signed a partnership agreement with Veo Technologies as the Official Video Provider of Utah Youth Soccer. This means that UYSA has plans to record ALL Semifinal and Final matches to be uploaded on Utah Youth Soccer Association’s YouTube channel. We are excited for players and coaches to utilize this game footage for highlight reels and recruitment tools.
PlayBax TV for Streaming Finals
Not only will the Semifinals and Finals be recorded through Veo, but UYSA has decided to provide the streaming of FINALS matches through Playbax. We are excited for the opportunity this will give to families who cannot make it to the final matches.
