Fall 2021 Season - Are You Ready?!

COACHES:

Check your status - make sure you have current certifications so that you are not red-lined! State Law requires the CDC Heads up EVERY year. Once you have taken the Safe Sport Course you need to take the refresher for Safe Sport. Please remember to upload your new certificates. Don’t be the reason that you team forfeits a game! If you have questions, please contact our office or your club registrar.

TEAM MANAGERS:

Check out the UYSA Team Manager Tab at utahyothsoccer.net. There are many topics that will help you be successful in managing your team.

Now is a great time to make sure that each players unique jersey number is entered into the system. Jersey numbers are required to be in the system prior to the start of the game!

RESCHEDULES:

Games needing to be rescheduled for that first Saturday, August 28th must be completed prior to game time on Monday August 23rdth. For example, the game is originally scheduled for Saturday August 28 at 8:00 a.m. and you need to reschedule, it must be completed in the system by Monday August 23rd prior to 8:00 a.m., this includes the opposing team acceptance. Once the window is closed the game is not eligible to be rescheduled. Remember each team is allowed a maximum of 2 reschedules. Not 2 that are fee free and then pay and get additional ones. Once you have used two reschedules there are no more reschedules!

Teams/Coaches that you are scheduled to play are not required to agree to a coach to coach reschedule.

Please be aware that Fall Break is scheduled by each School District – not all schools have scheduled their 2021 Fall Break at the same time!

Games start August 23rd and games must be played and scores entered prior to midnight November 8th.

SPORTSMANSHIP

Coaches, parents, players, spectators have the responsibility for good sportsmanship. Remember that the game is played for fun and the benefit of the youth, not adults. Be good role models, and provide positive support for all players, coaches, and game officials. No booing, taunting, refusing to shake hands, or using profane language or gestures. No criticism of game officials and show respect for their authority and decisions during games.

Referee FEES are Due prior to midnight Sunday August 22nd.

Emails specific to your team are in the process of being sent out to teams and clubs. A $25 late fee will be added if not paid timely. Your games may be forfeited if your referee fees are not paid. Please refer to your emails and or your online message center to find your specific referee fee link. Referee fees can be paid online OR by mailing in a check to the UYSA office. To avoid a late fee, all mailed checks must be post marked no later than August 22nd. If you do not have your link by August 8th, please contact the state office at 801-307-5150.
